About me

In January of 2015, my partner and I decided we needed to change the way we were living: and get back into the bushwalking that we loved when we lived in Tasmania. Now in Melbourne, and at the start of this story also without a car, we went looking for Victorian options for walking, accessible by public transport.

This blog is my attempt to document our journeys so that I don’t forget, but some of this might also be useful to others, visitors to Victoria, new residents like us, or anyone looking for easy access camping, hiking and nature exploration.

    • Hi Leah! Thanks for your kind words ๐Ÿ™‚ Your blog is a treasure for me, as someone who’s just started looking around the Victorian wild spaces – Arthur’s Seat is now very high on my list! Thank YOU for sharing your experiences (and I hope you enjoy the Overland track!)
